Welcome to The Greenhouse Sauna in Newport, widely regarded as the largest and premier gay sauna in Wales. Operating for over 20 years and recently refurbished, our multi-level venue at 24 Church Street offers a spacious and high-spec retreat for gay and bisexual men from across South Wales and the South West.

Our facilities are designed to provide a complete spa experience in the heart of the city. You can relax in our expansive spa pool (jacuzzi), detox in the traditional dry heat sauna, or clear your head in our high-intensity steam room. We also feature a sun shower, a modern internet suite, and a clean, comfortable lounge area where you can relax between sessions.

When you’re ready to socialise, our on-site café bar is the hub of the club, providing a friendly space to grab a drink or a snack. For those seeking privacy, we offer a range of well-maintained private restrooms and cabins. We are known for our welcoming, “no-attitude” atmosphere, making it a popular choice for both long-term members and those visiting Newport or nearby Cardiff for the first time.

We host a unique weekly event schedule that caters to a diverse community. Join us for our popular Naked Day every Wednesday (where towels are strictly optional), or visit on Thursdays for She-Dazzle, our dedicated night for the TV and cross-dressing community. On Friday nights from 8.00 pm, the venue hosts the long-running Chameleons crossover, and we stay open late on Saturdays until 3:00 am for those looking for a high-energy weekend session.
