Ted’s Place is a long-running LGBTQ+ bar in Fulham, London, offering a lively and welcoming space for trans people, cross-dressers, gay men and their admirers.
Set on North End Road, the venue is known for its friendly atmosphere, affordable drinks and a strong sense of community that has helped it remain a much-loved part of West London’s queer scene for decades.
The bar runs a varied weekly programme that gives each night its own character. Mondays are more relaxed and social, while Thursdays and Sundays bring trans, cross-dresser and gay nights with a busier late-night feel. Tuesdays are underwear nights,
Fridays focus on cruise control with a more men-only, playful atmosphere, and the first Saturday of the month hosts the DARE event. Across the week, the bar combines low-key drinks, conversation and a cruisy setting with themed nights that attract a mixed crowd.
Ted’s Place also has a reputation for being easy-going and unpretentious, with a focus on making people feel comfortable, whatever their background or style.
For anyone looking for a West London venue with history, community feel, and a distinctive programme of events, it remains a well-known LGBTQ+ destination.

This old-fashioned yet cozy underground gay bar has a relaxed and unpretentious atmosphere, and the owner and regulars are all incredibly friendly. Although the decor is a bit dated, the sense of inclusivity and comfort makes you want to go back again and again.
Friendly, informal, intimate, reasonably priced drinks and entry. Good location, too.
Ted's is a very welcoming venue! Ted himself is lovely and he has a great team supporting him! Really nice venue, alot nicer than the impression I got before visiting looking at the Google images, is a basement venue! Good toilet facilities and a good ambience! Have enjoyed my nights there and would recommend a visit!
