Sh*tbox - over priced , mank hole for tourists 🤣
Staff are always so rude. That is why I go here every 1.5-2 years. Not sure if it is just racism or pure rude and bad upbringing of staff. I would rather hop on a train to Manchester or plane/ train to Paris than go to this place. And the smell and black mould. Not healthy
Terrible service. Trying to call my partner for an emergency at home and chose option 5 to speak to so eone and they simply hang up. Filthy and disgraceful
I have been to a lot of saunas over the years in many countries but not this one so I was looking forward to checking it out and having fun. Overall one has to make your own fun but it could have been less bureaucratic and more interesting as venues go. Disappointing in sum. The check in was a bit daunting (refer to website and other reviews regarding the storage of bags/ clothes separate to valuables ) and the staff seemed to be having issues with the QR code from the app (great idea but needs work) but reception essentially proficient and well mannered but not friendly. Put any medication in with your valuables so you can easily retrieve them. I needed an inhaler but had to wait 5 minutes for someone to ok me retrieving my bag by which time I could have been pretty unwell. Left early to recover more safely. Never met such a draconian system anywhere, ever but I understand the issues stated but does this work? A little claustrophobic in places for me personally (steam maze especially) and a bit chilly once steamed up to be going to the cruising level with No Towel Tuesday in operation. (ditch it and the useless flannel!). I think this resulted in most people staying crowded on the steam and sauna level and and killed any vibe elsewhere. Did I miss something? No bar and no porn! Was this set up by people who don't understand the human / Gay psyche? Maybe regulatory issues because Brit saunas don't compare well to European ones. Make lube readily available please. The bar / spa area was pretty dead and a waste of space I think so essentially two floors not three of any interest. The sauna is a bit useless and downstairs showers grubby but I've seen worse. Spend some money, its looking tired.
Amazing!
