At On Bar, we define the sound of the Village. We are home to some of the most talented DJs in the North, spinning a high-octane mix of house, circuit beats, and floor-filling anthems.
We also host a variety of spectacular live performances, from fierce drag showcases to themed parties that push the boundaries of Manchester’s nightlife. Whether you are starting your evening with a “Pornstar Martini” in our lounge or ending it on the top floor at 4:00 AM, we provide the ultimate backdrop for your night out.
I left my bag downstairs whilst I was smoking up on the balcony. Came downstairs at end of night and my bag wasn't where I left it, my bad on that one. But asked at the bar and they had my bag. Got home and realised something had been taken out of my bag. And not just from the top of inside my bag, but fully in my bag. And I've a feeling it was done by the staff. If some random was robbing me they would've taken the whole bag. So gotta be the staff unfortunately. So yeah, not sound at all. I work in nightlife/hospitality and know that lost property is fair game after a point. But not before the night is over/bar is still bloody open. Disgraceful tbh. Gutted and disappointed in my community GG
Drove all the way from Kent. Dropped bags at hotel then went to this place for our first drink. Upon entering an obnoxious bouncer approached us saying “not tonight as I believe you’ve had to much to drink or under the influence” we literally had a zero drop of alcohol and have never taken drugs in my life. When trying to say we’ve just driven from Kent they wasn’t interested. Couldn’t be bothered to argue so went to the pop bar where we were welcomed and looked after. We ended up having a great night after our first experience of the first bar we tried
I came down to celebrate Pride 2026, as I'm originally from Newcastle. The staff here were amazing, and I kept circling back and being drawn back into this bar because of how much I loved it. Even when it rained, they rushed the DJ stuff indoors, gathered us cosy in the upstairs and played the rainy playlist. Love you On Bar!
