Kremlin is a long-established LGBTQ+ nightclub in Belfast, set on Donegall Street in the city centre and known for its distinctive décor, busy dancefloors and strong place in the city’s queer nightlife. Opened in 1999, it became Northern Ireland’s first gay-owned and managed venue and quickly built a reputation as a major social hub for LGBTQ+ people in Belfast and beyond.
The club is known for its themed nights, resident party atmosphere and regular programme of events that keep the venue lively throughout the week. Recent listings show nights such as Playroom, KLUB280, THURSTY, Karnival and Revolution, giving the venue a different feel on different evenings. Guests can expect a late-night atmosphere, loud music and a crowd that comes for dancing, socialising and a full nightclub experience. The venue’s bold interior and club-focused layout help create a setting that feels theatrical, energetic and unmistakably queer.
Kremlin remains one of Belfast’s best-known LGBTQ+ venues and a landmark for the city’s queer nightlife. For visitors looking for a central club with history, personality and a strong party feel, it continues to be a major destination in the capital.
