If you are looking for the most vibrant and welcoming heartbeat of the city’s LGBTQ+ scene, Eclipse Bar is your essential destination in Cardiff. We are more than just a venue; we are a community-focused sanctuary where the drinks are cold, the music is hot, and everyone—regardless of how they identify—is invited to the party. We pride ourselves on being a “glamorous but grounded” space that celebrates the best of Cardiff’s queer culture.
Entertainment with an Edge
Our bar is designed to be a high-energy hub for creativity and performance. We believe that a night out should be an experience, which is why our calendar is packed with some of the best talent in Wales. Whether you are coming for our legendary drag shows, high-octane DJ sets, or themed party nights, we provide a stage where local performers can shine, and audiences can let loose. At Eclipse, we don’t just host events; we create memories under the neon lights.
A Safe Space for Everyone
At Eclipse Bar, we believe that “community is the best cocktail.” We work hard to maintain a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment for all our patrons. From our friendly security team to our “Ask for Angela” participation, we ensure that your night out is as safe as it is fun. Whether you are a regular local, a student new to the city, or a visitor exploring the Welsh capital, you’ll find a diverse crowd that reflects the beautiful spectrum of our community.
