Delmonicas is the heart of Glasgow’s queer community, and we have been at the very centre of it since 1991. Lovingly known to many as Dels’, we are located at 68 Virginia Street in Merchant City. We have built Delmonicas around a simple idea: a safe, inclusive and joyful space where people can dance, drink and celebrate together, with entertainment every single night of the week.

We continue to this day to offer a warm, welcoming home for Glasgow’s LGBTQ+ community and allies alike. Whether guests are new to Dels’ or have been coming for years, we want them to feel at home the moment they walk through the door.

Entertainment seven nights a week

Delmonicas is known for its top-notch entertainment seven nights a week. Our weekly programme is packed full of high-energy, high-calibre acts that keep the energy up and the atmosphere buzzing. From drag to cabaret to club nights, there is always something going on here.

Our famous weekly drag show, GAG, is a highlight of the calendar and a key part of what makes Delmonicas special. We also host Suck!, our weekly drag queen show that showcases the best in drag culture from Glasgow, Scotland, the UK and beyond. These shows, along with our other events, bring together the very best of queer performance and entertainment.

On Sundays, our karaoke is absolutely fabulous, with guests joining in for a fun, lively night where everyone is encouraged to have a go. We also host a Sunday brunch with dazzling performances, tasty brunch bites and endless fun, making it a perfect choice for start-to-finish celebrations.

Drinks and hand-finished pizzas

Delmonicas is not just about entertainment. Our drinks menu is jam-packed full of fun and fruity cocktails, shooters and some very special sharers. We take pride in making drinks that are both creative and well-crafted, with a focus on quality and presentation.

If guests get a little peckish, our hand-finished pizzas are the perfect thing to share amongst friends. They pair ideally with our cocktails and beers, making them a great choice for nights out that span a few hours.

We also serve good beer, and our bar is staffed by friendly, knowledgeable people who know the menu and know how to make guests feel welcome.
