About Us

Paul and Ricky

Hello and welcome to QueerHub UK. We’re Paul and Ricky, the founders of this platform, and we’re proud to have built it for the LGBTQ+ community across the United Kingdom.

Back in 2024, Paul and Ricky were on holiday in Benidorm, Spain.  While on the beach, they met up with some other guys from the UK, and the conversation turned to how members of the LGBTQ+ community find out about places and events.

While many sites or apps are available, no place collects all this information in one place, and after they returned to the UK, they thought about it a lot more.

After a lot of research and discussions, both here in the UK and with other friends who travel to the UK, the idea of Queerhub was created.

As a gay couple with experience in web development, content strategy, and community building, we created QueerHub UK to be a simple, welcoming place where people can discover queer-friendly events, businesses, services, and vendors in one safe and inclusive space.

Introducing QueerHub UK

QueerHub UK is more than a directory. It is a community platform designed to help people find Pride events, drag nights, sports meetups, nightlife, counselling services, gyms, shops, and other inclusive spaces across the UK.

We built it with care and with real community needs in mind. We aim to make it easier for people to find places, products, and services that feel welcoming, supportive, and respectful of different sexual orientations, gender identities, and intersex experiences.

What You Can Do on QueerHub UK

Our platform is here to help users, organisers, businesses, and vendors connect with the community clearly and practically.

Event Listings

You can browse or create event listings for queer-friendly activities such as sports meetups, cabaret shows, yoga sessions, community gatherings, and fetish nights. Organisers can add event details, images, and external links, with support for paid events too.

Directory Listings

You can search for or submit LGBTQ+-friendly businesses and services, including web design services, retail shops, health clinics, and adventure activities. Listings can include your business name, a well-written description, photos, and category tags such as Nightlife or Health & Wellbeing so people can find the right place more easily.

Vendor Shopping

QueerHub UK also supports vendors who want to sell products and services directly to the community. Vendors can showcase items such as clothing, gifts, books, artwork, accessories, and other community-focused products. This gives visitors another way to discover and support queer-owned and queer-friendly businesses in one place.

Event Ticketing

For paid events, we provide secure ticketing so organisers can sell tickets through the platform. This makes it easier to manage pricing, payments, and earnings in one place.

Account Management

Users can sign up for free, set up a profile, save details, and manage their activity on the site. Organisers, business owners, and vendors can also use their dashboard to update listings, review activity, and manage their submissions.

Our Promise

We want QueerHub UK to be a place where people feel seen, supported, and connected. That means keeping listings moderated, maintaining clear community standards, and continuing to build useful features for both visitors and account holders.

Whether you are a business owner, a vendor, an event organiser, or someone looking for your next queer-friendly experience, QueerHub UK is here to help make the UK feel a little smaller, a little safer, and a lot more connected.

Join us by listing your business, setting up your vendor shop, hosting an event, or simply exploring what is out there.

With love,
Paul & Ricky
